Say, would you guys like to see Freewheel switch to a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule? It would give you one extra page a week and is totally doable for me. At two posts a week I have a huge buffer right now that will last me until October, so adding an extra day wouldn’t be too hard. Comment if you’d be interested in such a thing! I might start doing this in March if there is enough interest.

I’m still looking for a few good pieces of Freewheel fan art – I might put the best ones in the Freewheel: Volume One book, but anything I get I’ll post on here and on my other blogs, with links on , and the like.

I would prefer they be done within the next two weeks, but anytime before the end of February is fine. Just make sure they are at least 300dpi and can fit within the confines of a standard comic book page. They don’t have to BE those dimensions, but the art should fit comfortably in that sort of area (so, for example, no art that is wider than it is tall). I won’t put anything in the book without your permission, but by sending me the art you should consider that permission to post it online (with credit, of course).

Be sure to include your name and any website you’d like to have your name attached to, if applicable (website, blog, webcomic, whatever).

BIG NEWS about the Freewheel: Volume One Fundraising Campout! Guess what? WE HAVE A MAYOR OF HOBOTOWN!

His name is Mario Gonzalez, and his face will be drawn on a hobo in Chapter Five of the Freewheel: Volume One book! He’ll also get to name a hobo himself, among several other things! And of course, as there can be only one Mayor, the title has been retired and the highest level of funding is now Bootlegger ($300). Thanks Mario!

Here’s where funding is at right now for the Freewheel: Volume One Fundraising Campout - 64% funded, less than $1000 to goal and we only have three weeks left! And don’t forget – Level 2 and up will receive the book MONTHS before it goes up for sale online, and the only other way you can get it before September will be to come see me at a convention. So if you want to skip ahead and read the first five chapters waaaay before they’re published online, definitely consider contributing to the Freewheel Campout! Only three weeks left!
