So as I mentioned the other day, in about three weeks it’ll be November 8th, which means it will be the first anniversary of Freewheel! To celebrate, I’d like to hold a contest lasting for the next three weeks leading up to the anniversary!
Anyone who enters the contest will be emailed a discount code for 10% off in the store and the winner will get to choose one item from the store (excluding commissions) which I will send to them for FREE!
Here’s the deets: I want you to show me your version of anything from the Freewheel universe. This means almost anything you want it to mean: fan art, dress up as a character and take a picture of yourself or someone else dressed up as such, make a video re-enacting a scene from the comic, make an animation of something from the comic, cook your version of food from Freewheel (which one intrepid reader has already done in the form of a real-life !), or anything else you can imagine!
I will post all entries publicly and then allow you, the audience, to vote on your favorites! The one with the most votes will win one item of their choice from the store (excluding commissions) and all entrants will receive a coupon code for 10% off anything in the store, as I mentioned before.
Email your entries to me at liz(at)lizbaillie(dot)com before November 7th!
Get weird with it!

What a prize! I jammed through all of it already. Loved it. Thanks!
No problem, dude! You earned it!
I think you accomplished more than I did. You got some guy to do some thing. I just slopped some stuff together and ate it. Therefore, I feel overrewarded. And because I enjoyed MBH so much, I MAY put some time into a second recreation project for fun, if I can find the…stuff to put it together.
Yes!!! Do it! I haven’t gotten any entries for the new contest yet, you should do something for that!
Then I suppose I’ll be dragging out the sewing machine…
No comment on the comic?! Don’t be a barnacle.
A barnacle?
You can comment all you want, but I don’t want to spoil anything, so I didn’t want to say anything… spoilery.
Dang. I want magic chalk!
Who doesn’t? The thing that kind of sucks though is if you don’t know how to use it, it might take you to places you weren’t expecting to go to!
Hi Liz! I found your comic after listening to your worldbuilding panel that is up on Evan Dahm’s website. Circuitous, no? Well, I just wanted to say hi and your comic is the bee’s knees! And the magic chalk reminds me of one of my favorite Russian kids’ book series… It was about a wizard called Alyosha and he had a magic chalk. If you drew a door with it, you could open that door and walk into fairytale worlds. It was pretty great.
