Holy crap, it’s the first appearance of Old George! He is guarding the heck out of Clooney’s Cavern. Things are about to get INTERESTING!
I always say Old George reminds me of my friend Gabby when he had really terrible hair and unfortunate moustache (even though Old George doesn’t have a moustache… he could if he wanted to). I still think when he gets old he could do a lot worse than to sit outside a creepy cave whittling stuff and being crotchety.
On second thought, maybe it’s just the hair, hat, and shirt. It’s more like he’s cosplaying Old George. Either way, you should check out Gabby’s book Monsters which he created under his more well-known nom de plume, Ken Dahl. Sadly (or actually, not so sadly for his girlfriend) he doesn’t look like Old George at the moment. But you should still check out his book.
Only TWO WEEKS left to get in on the Freewheel: Volume One Fundraising Campout! I am chipping away at the final pages of Chapter Five and the book will be done soon after I finish that chapter, which will be the end of February!
We are still only $868 away from meeting the goal! There is still a big sale going on in the store ’till the end of February to benefit the Freewheel: Volume One printing bill as well!
Oh slick! I was thinking that he looked like Mr Dahl.
It would be awesome if he still looked like that, I could pay him to pretend to be cosplaying Old George at conventions! But really I think everyone is better off in a world without moustaches (unless you’re Freddie Mercury – only exception).
you hate mustaches!
you’re a mustache-hater!
what i meant to write was thanks for the plug!
Hey I can’t just introduce Old George without remarking about the similarities! And I can’t remark on the similarities without plugging your book, because that’s just obnoxious.
Also, yes I am a moustache-hater. Unless you’re Freddie Mercury. But I love the word “moustache.”
Okay, I totally thought that was Gabbers. Excellent visual choice.
